With its durable steel construction and high-inertia drums, the Dynojet Dyno can
accurately diagnose performance or drivability problems in vehicles with anywhere
from 20 to 2000 Hp at the drive wheels. Dyno runs can be done at speeds up to 200mph,
providing safe, reliable road testing right in the shop. This makes the Automotive
Dynamometer ideal for both performance enthusiasts and general repair shops.
With a quick vehicle mounting time, the Dynojet Dyno allows you to measure, record,
and diagnose performance problems quickly. Our new DynoWare EX+ interface hardware
and WinPEP7 evaluation software automatically correct for altitude and atmospheric

The Model 248x Dynamometer features 48" diameter, knurled, precision balanced drums,
while the Model 224x Dynamometer features 24" drums. The drums provide stable contact
for the tires eliminating unnecessary slippage and tire deformation resulting in
precise repeatable results every time. Our unique Dynamic testing capability allows
a realistic simulation of street or track conditions, highlighting mechanical problems
graphically as they would occur and eliminating unnecessary engine and power train
wear in actual road use testing.
The Dynojet Dynamometer interfaces with a standard PC computer through our comprehensive
and reliable hardware and software package. The automated software design allows
a mechanic to complete tests quickly with a few keystrokes. The results are rapidly
displayed on screen with a hardcopy printout available.
Unlike other Dynamometers which simply measure horsepower, our dynamic testing and
graphing capability highlight problems in an easy to interpret manner. Electrical,
fuel, clutch or converter slippage and drive train problems are determined quickly.
All tests are stored for future comparison and analysis. Automatic measurement of
the barometric pressure and ambient air temperature together with humidity measurement

relatively simple. Energy drawn from the rear tire is stored in a rotating mass
sized to simulate driving a vehicle on the road. A computer connected to the Dynamometer
displays horsepower by measuring drum acceleration. Runs with up to 2000 + horsepower
are processed into easy to interpret graphs and saved for future reference.
