OPTIONAL 4WD ATTACHMENT ( for MODEL 224x, 224xLC, 248x )
The most versatile option, the 224x-AWD attachment can be added to an
existing Dynojet dynamometer model to make it all-wheel-drive capable.
Horsepower and torque measurements can be done on front and rear
wheels separately or front and rear wheels combined. This attachment can
accommodate wheelbases from 88” to 140” with just the touch of a button.
The all-wheel drive dynamometer consists of two
dynamometers, a wheelbase adjustment assembly, a special version of our WinPEP Software
enabling all-wheel drive testing. These are the different
configurations available for all-wheel drive:

above ground or pit configuration when
upgrading from a 224x or 224xLC models.

Model 224x Front and Rear: This application is recommended for all-wheel drive vehicles not exceeding 1500hp + and 200mph. Also recommended for front and rear wheel drive vehicles not exceeding 1500hp and 200mph.
Model 224x Front and Model 248x Rear: This application is recommended for all-wheel drive vehicles not exceeding 1500hp +
or 200mph. Also recommended for front and rear wheel drive vehicles not exceeding
1800hp + and 200mph on the Model 248x. *The all-wheel drive dynamometer upgrade for the 248x is available for in ground
installation only.
