Dynojet at the 2008 High Lifter ATV Mud Nationals
Event: High Lifter ATV Mud Nationals
Dates: April 2 - 6, 2008
Location: East Texas
Dynojet's increased presence at the High Lifter ATV Mud Nationals brought
Power Commanders and a mobile Dynojet Tuning Center to Jacksonville, Texas.
Racers prepping for runs in the mud bog found that snorkels tend to move
their air/fuel ratio to the rich end. The snorkels are needed so that the
vehicles can run into deep water without filling the motor with water. Many
riders present had purchased another brand of fuel injection modification
unit available onsite only to find that the unit didn't remove fuel. Enter
the Dynojet Power Commander.
Most of the intake and exhaust snorkels cause ATVs to run rich. The Power
Commander allows riders to lean out the air/fuel ratio for the best possible
performance. A few riders removed the inadequate FI units and installed
Power Commanders, because they needed more adjustability to get their ATVs
running correctly. The other units do not allow for leaning out of the
air/fuel ratio. The mobile Tuning Center was on hand to give Power Commander
equipped ATVs the most accurate tune possible for each set up.
Dynojet also sponsors the Bad 2 Da Bone contest. This year's winners:
- 1st Place Prize: Colt Sieber
- 2nd Place Prize: David Stelly
- 3rd Place Prize: Mike Upshaw
